[Supplications Narrated in Al-Qur’an]

1. Pronunciation: Rabbana Atina Fidduniya Hasanataw Wafil A-Khirati Hasanataw Waqbina A’zabannar. (Surah Baqarah, verse-201)
Meaning: O our Lord! Grant us good in this world and in the Hereafter and protect us from the punishment of Hellfire.

2. Pronunciation: Rabbana ola tuhammilna ma-la twa qatalana bihi, wa’fu anna, ogfirlana, orhamna, anta mawlana fanchurna a’lal qawmil kafirin. (Surah Baqarah, verse-286)
Meaning: O our Lord! We do not carry burdens that we do not have the strength to carry. Forgive us our sins, forgive us and have mercy on us, You are our Lord. So help us against the infidels.

3. Pronunciation: Rabbana zalamna anfusana wa-illamtag firlana watarhamna lanakunanna minal khasirin. (Surah Araf, verse-23)
Meaning: O our Lord! We have wronged our souls, and if You do not forgive us, we will surely be among the losers.

4. Pronunciation: rabbanagfirli oliolidayya walilmu’minina yaoma yakumul khaka. (Surah Ibrahim, verse-41)
Meaning: O our Lord! Forgive us and our parents and all the believers on the Day of Reckoning.

5. Pronunciation: Rabbana hablana min azwajina wazurriatina kurrata a’yuni-waz al-na lil muttaqina imama. (Surah Furqan, verse 74)
Meaning: O our Lord! Give us coolness of eyes on behalf of our wives and on behalf of our children and make us an example for the muttaqis.

6. Pronunciation: Rabbana a’laika tawakkalna wa-ilaika anabna wa-ilaikaal mashir. Rabbana la-taj’alna fitnatal lillajina kafaru ogfirlana, innaka antal azizul hakim. (Surah Mumtahina, verses 4-5)
Meaning: O our Lord! In You we trust, in You we turn, and to You is our return. O our Lord! Do not make us a test for the disbelievers. O our Lord! forgive us Surely you are mighty wise.

7. Pronunciation: rabbi ha’mahuma kama rabbayani chagira. (Surah: Bani Israel, verse: 24)
Meaning: O Lord! Have mercy on my parents as they did on us as children.

8. Pronunciation: Rabbana innana amanna fagfirlana junubana waqbina ajabannar. (Surah Al-Imran, verse-16)
Meaning: O our Lord! We have believed, so forgive us our sins and save us from the punishment of Hellfire.
